Founded in 1994, Fransen Pittman is a premier Colorado-based construction company. They specialize in buildings that transform communities and lives of the individuals living, working and playing in them. They serve clientele in multiple industries including defense, aerospace, government, education, healthcare and community.
Fransen Pittman has experienced steady growth since their beginning and managed their own brand and marketing materials internally during that time. They engaged D+i in 2017 during a construction boom in the Denver Metro area. As the industry was growing in the region, so was the competition. With increasing opportunities to win larger and larger projects, it became necessary to evolve their brand and ensure their reputation and unique value proposition matched new client perception.
A culture of precision
As part of a brand refresh, our team worked with Fransen Pittman stakeholders to document their current positioning and values. Through our discovery process, we found that FP was well positioned in their industry, however, they needed to redesign their communications to emphasize their true point of differentiation.
FP utilizes a unique pre-construction process called MET. This process gives full authority to the owner for the assembly of the project and allows their team to dissect each component and customize its structure according to their vision and budget/schedule boundaries. This initial and thorough process guarantees the project will be on time, on budget and most importantly, bring the overall vision of the project to life. We leveraged this approach to accuracy and developed the tagline “Expect Precision” as the foundation for their brand.
With a new tagline, our team created a complete Brand Expression which included an updated core identity, messaging and a design system to be used for multiple collateral pieces.
