Colorado Prosthodontic Society
Brand Identity | Website | Brand Collateral
Founded in 1919 the Colorado Prosthodontic Society (CPS) is the oldest continuously-operating prosthodontic study club in the United States. Grown from a small group of practitioners to over 400 general dentist members, the organization has a rich and distinguished heritage of which its members are proud. As CPS passed its 100th anniversary they hired D+i to take a comprehensive look at existing perceptions of the visual brand elements and how well they represented the organization alongside the annual seminar-based product they delivered. After vetting primary concerns through a survey of existing and potential members, the drivers for the rebrand revolved around how to best represent the organizations goal to provide relevant and high caliber speakers in an accessible location and ensuring their outward communication was competitive with similar organizations around the country.
We began with an identity update, refreshing the organizations’ seal icon to be most legible at any size while still representing the medical caduceus-based symbology in a more modern way. This clean, modern aesthetic was then applied across outbound marketing materials including a brochure mailer that helped enlist new members while also pointing existing members to a functional, clean, easy-to-navigate website where they could register for future seminars and keep their membership details up to date.
