CORHIO is the leader in facilitating health information exchange in order to improve the health of all Coloradans. Unlike their competitors CORHIO is a nonprofit organization, solely concerned with helping healthcare professionals do their jobs better, by becoming a trusted partner that delivers services at cost, ultimately benefiting the healthcare community and patient care as a whole.
D+i was hired to create the original identity and brand expression in 2010 and has been working in close partnership with the CORHIO marketing team to evolve their messaging & brand expression and manage its consistent application ever since.
In order to match up to their current growth and shifts in the marketplace D+i was tasked to evolve the brand expression toward a story-telling, benefit-based approach that would also warrant a new website and subsequent marketing materials.
Through a collaborative and strategic process with the client a creative brief was written to serve as a foundation for the messaging, visual expression and creation of the website that would become the largest host of information and educational repository.
Subtle shifts were made to inform the style of photography, ultimately expressing a more candid feeling that connects with the reality of the user. Benefit-driven headlines, combined with testimonial videos and real-life examples help express a brand that relates to physicians, practice and hospital administrators in an impactful fashion. Direct and relatable communication delivered in multiple ways informs the viewer about tools that make them more efficient, save time and reduce costs.
With the large amount of information being delivered through an online medium, it was also essential to maintain a clean and open layout that combines simple information hierarchy with typographical differentiation and a whole lot of white space, making sure any viewer has a seamless interactive experience that doesn’t overwhelm.
