Daredevils of D+i

At D+i, I…

Wear a lot of hats (literally and figuratively — I own a lot of hats). I design everything from print projects (annual reports, environmental signage, brochures, etc.) to digital ones (websites, apps, digital ads) with a focus on UI/UX design. I’m also the go-to spell check queen.

A movie title for the story of my life…

Frozen. I am perpetually cold and use my space heater when it’s 90 degrees outside.

The first job I ever had…

Gordmans. It’s a department store kinda similar to TJ Maxx. I worked as a cashier in the juniors’ clothing department, spent all my paychecks on clothing, and became wayyyyyy too into color coding my closet.

To get the creative juices flowing, I…

Drink the boozy things, get outside, listen to creative podcasts (Perspective Collective and Creative Pep Talk are my go-tos), or make insanely long playlists on Spotify (then forget what I was doing in the first place).

When not at D+i, you can find me…

Hitting up restaurants and breweries around Denver, drawing and lettering, hiking in the mountains, and going to as many concerts as humanly possible.

My favorite part about working at D+i is…

We get to work on some pretty sweet stuff at D+i – one of which is design and marketing for Red Rocks. Through that relationship, we’ve gotten to score privileged access to Red Rocks shows…and I’ve taken full advantage! 😍😍

A secret talent I possess is…

Identifying early 2000s emo artists/songs within the first 2 seconds. (Helloooo Good Charlotte, Fall Out Boy, Brand New…) That genre is my guilty pleasure.
